Who We Are

We've been an active part of Fayette County for over 90 years and we're going strong.
More than a time & place

Church is more than a building or a boring service. It's people. We believe that life is meant to be done in community. You find in the Bible - and definitely the teaching of Jesus - that the church was never meant to be an institution but a movement of people transforming the world around them. (For the record, our services aren't boring!) :)

  • Christ-Centered

We aim to make everything we do centered around God’s mission of the church making fully-devoted followers of Jesus.
    We teach the Bible.

  • Family-geared

We're committed to equipping families to experience the life-changing love and purpose Jesus gives. Kids & Teens are a high priority around here!

  • Community-Focused

A church should be a vital part of a community. Because of Jesus' love shown to us, we aim to be irrationally generous with our time & resources to serve our neighbors.

  • Seeker & Skeptic-Friendly

Feel free to come as you are. Everyone who walks through our doors is valuable to God & us. If you're a Christian or if not sure about God, you'll find this a safe place to seek.

Our Story

Fayette Community Church (then called Fayette Wesleyan Methodist Church) officially launched in 1926. After a fire in 1957, the original building burned down, and was rebuilt from the ground up later that year. Our building has been completely remodeled, and features a fully-staffed Nursery area, 120-seat Sanctuary, kids & teen classrooms, and a multi-purpose Community Center.
Our mission still remains the same, although our methods of ministry have changed through the years.
Today, FCC is a growing group of people of many ages, backgrounds, and personalities. We seek to be a group committed to serving Christ, each other, and the world.

Our Connection & Beliefs

We're a proud part of a larger body of churches called "The Wesleyan Church."
Fayette Community Church operates as an independent local church while our finances, pastors, and theology are all held accountable to The Wesleyan Church.
